Jeff is the Chief Innovation Officer at Transcarent, leading our efforts to design novel products and partnerships supporting our end-to-end Member support services. His interests span from furthering evidence-based health initiatives to innovative opportunities that deliver trusted, simple, seamless and connected solutions that drive value for our clients, Members and the providers themselves.

Prior to joining Transcarent, Jeff was the Health Strategy and Innovation Leader at Mercer Consulting. He was the Chief Medical Officer at One Medical, designing their innovative model of care and was responsible for the company’s B2B strategy. Jeff has also served as the Chief Medical Officer at RedBrick health where he was responsible for the company’s clinical programs (wellbeing, disease management, medication therapy management). Jeff led design, development and ongoing operations of the clinical and coaching programs as well as leading outcomes research for a range of population health programs.Previously, he was a partner at Willis Towers Watson, where he was responsible for employer based health management programs, employer-provider contracting and onsite/near site clinics. He has operated a national group of 58 primary care medical practices, was Chief Medical Officer of an early ACO management firm and was an analyst at a hedge fund.Jeff is a board-certified internist and rheumatologist and an Associate Professor at NYU School of Medicine.

Anand Iyer

Anand is a respected global digital health leader—most known for his insights on and experience with technology, strategy, and regulatory policy. Anand has been instrumental in Welldoc’s success and the development of BlueStar®, the first FDA-cleared mobile prescription therapy for adults with type 2 diabetes. Since joining Welldoc in 2008, he has held core leadership positions that included Chief Data Science Officer, President and Chief Operations Officer. In 2013, Anand was named “Maryland Healthcare Innovator of the Year” in the field of mobile health. Prior to joining Welldoc, Anand was already an established thought leader in the field. He had served as the Director of PRTM’s wireless practice, where helped companies take advantage of disruptive technologies, business models, and process models offered by and enabled by advanced wireless communications.

Anand was the founder and immediate-past president of the In-Building Wireless Alliance and teaches advanced wireless courses to senior officers in the US Department of Defense at the Institute for Defense and Business. Prior to joining PRTM, Anand was a member of the scientific staff at Bell Northern Research and Nortel Networks. He holds an MS and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds a BS in electrical and computer engineering from Carleton University.

She’s passionate about empowering people to be their best — whether internal teams or customer bases. Today she serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Virgin Pulse.

John Whyte

John Whyte, MD, MPH, is a popular physician and writer who has been communicating to the public about health issues for nearly two decades. Dr. Whyte is the Chief Medical Officer, WebMD. In this role, he leads efforts to develop and expand strategic partnerships that create meaningful change around important and timely public health issues. Prior to WebMD, Whyte served as the director of professional affairs and stakeholder engagement at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Whyte worked with health care professionals, patients, and patient advocates, providing them with a focal point for advocacy, enhanced two-way communication, and collaboration, assisting them in navigating the FDA on issues concerning drug development, review, and drug safety. He also developed numerous initiatives to address diversity in clinical trials.

Whyte is also a board-certified internist. He completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center as well as earned a Master of Public Health in health policy and management at Harvard University School of Public Health. Prior to arriving in Washington, Whyte was a health services research fellow at Stanford and an attending physician in the department of medicine. He has written extensively in the medical and lay press. He continues to see patients in Washington, DC, and Maryland.

Dr. Singer received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health.

As Welldoc’s Chief Operating Officer, Keith Reynolds leads the company’s ongoing development partnerships and commercialization efforts for its digital health products for chronic conditions, including its award-winning product for diabetes, BlueStar. Prior to joining Welldoc, Keith spent 17 years at CVS Health, where he served as Vice President, Enterprise Health Plans and Market Strategy. In this role, he led multi-functional teams including Enterprise Health Plan, Enterprise Market Strategy and the Prescription Affordability program. Prior to that Keith held leadership roles within CVS Caremark working with Health Plans and new business development. Following CVS Health, Reynolds served as Chief Commercial Officer of Castlight.

Laurel Pickering is Head, Strategic Alliances at Centivo where she is responsible for managing and broadening relationships with key partners to expand the reach of Centivo’s innovative health plan model. Before joining Centivo, Laurel was Executive Vice President, Enterprise Solutions for Welldoc where she promoted their best-in-class digital solutions for chronic care management. Laurel was the president & CEO of Northeast Business Group on Health (NEBGH) for nearly 25 years before joining Welldoc and Centivo. There, she built an employer-led coalition of healthcare leaders and other stakeholders with the mission of empowering members to drive excellence and value in healthcare and the patient experience. Under Laurel’s leadership, NEBGH became one of the most active and influential healthcare-focused business coalitions in the country, focused on moving toward a value-based delivery system. Laurel joined the adjunct faculty of Jefferson’s College of Population Health in 2021, bringing her years of experience in healthcare quality and market-based reform to her teaching. Laurel serves on the Board of Directors of HealthPass. She is Co-Chair of the Advisory Council of the Center for Workplace Mental Health and Chair of the Appeals Board of the National Quality Forum (NQF). Laurel is an Advisor to Welldoc, Eden Health, and Fresh Tri. She previously served on the Boards of The Leapfrog Group, National Alliance of Health Care Purchaser Coalitions, and National Quality Forum. She was also a member of NCQA’s Standards Committee. Laurel received her BA in Anthropology from SUNY Albany and MPH from Emory University.
